pet enzymesA plus for every dog and cat on today’s modern diet with all the new kinds of foods and treats.

pet enzymesAnimals are meant to eat a 100% raw diet... but is that practical?

pet enzymesWhat is the answer for keeping your pet healthy with a modern pet diet? The answer is;  Total-Zymes® PLUS

For complete digestion you must include all the different enzymes in a product to digest each type of food ingredient. A digestive product that contains only four, five or six enzymes will do a poor job digesting the complex ingredients of today's high quality pet food.

Using Total-Zymes® PLUS on your pet's food is as close to the benefits of an all raw food diet as you can get.

Not all probiotics are alike. Many cheap probiotics are unstable and lose their beneficial properties in the stomach before the probiotics can reach the intestines. Some companies put probiotics in there product that do not implant. We are the experts in this field. The formulator of this product wrote the book "The Wonder of Probiotics".

Probiotics can help support good gut health, including vitamin production and supporting the immune system healthy in pets.

So use the tab with the power of enzymes and probiotics all in one!

The Live Enzyme Activated Delivery System ® (L.E.A.D.S.®) insures assimilation at a cellular level. This particular combination of mineral cofactors helps to activate each individual enzyme for maximum particle digestion and complete nutrient distribution throughout the body. It increases the formula's bioavailability. It also optimizes our probiotics' effectiveness in your pet's digestive tract helping the probiotics implant and colonize. Made and bottled in the USA,

Using Total-Zymes® PLUS on your pet's food is as close as you can get to the benefits of an all raw food diet.

More Information

The Best Enzyme Plus Probiotics Pet Supplement Product On The Market Just Got Better!

Two sizes! Improved with more enzymes aqnd probiotics plus higher CFU's.

By using Total-Zymes® PLUS on any pet's food you free up their body's digestive system.

New! Larger Tab: 1 tablet with 1 cup of any pet food and can be given before or after the meal as a treat or just toss it in their bowl. Tablets may be easily broken in half to treat a 1/2 cup of food per feeding.

New Ingredient! The only patented stabilized glutamine in the world- MGG chelate- This stabilized Glutamine re-writes the book on utilizing anabolic nitrogen molecules to help cleanse and fortify the body. Glutamine yields beneficial effects on the intestinal mucosa and is also the major metabolic fuel for the small intestine. The addition of the chelated glutamine to Total-Biotics ®  supports the stability and colonization characteristics of beneficial bacteria in the pet's intestinal tract.

 Why Total-Zymes® PLUS?

Enzymes to do their work they must have a supply of high quality chelated minerals to activate the enzymes. These minerals are burned up in that catalytic enzyme activity. If those necessary minerals are not in the digestive enzymes formula itself, then those enzymes will rob the tissues and organs of those minerals in order to accomplish the complete digestion.Total-Zymes®  Plus For Pets does NOT contain any animal based enzymes and here is why:

To stop this from happening and to enhance the speed and efficiency of our enzyme formula we have added our L.E.A.D.S.® system of patented chelated minerals so the process would be complete unto itself. The L.E.A.D.S.® system is exclusive to NWC Naturals® Pet Products.

Digestive enzymes are very specific. They will only digest the exact food type for which they are named. As an example lipase will digest only lipids or fats as they are commonly called. Lipase will not do anything to digest protein or carbohydrates. Supplemental pancreatic, plant, and microbial enzymes are all designed to enhance digestion. However, plant and microbial enzymes use a "pro-active" approach and begin working on foods soon after ingestion. Pancreatic enzymes do not go to work right away. Pancreatic enzymes usually begin working approximately 30 minutes after food reaches the stomach and up to 80% of the enzymes are destroyed in the stomach.

For complete digestion you must include all the different enzymes in a product to digest each type of food ingredient.

A digestive product that contains only four, five or six enzymes will do a poor job digesting the complex ingredients of today's high quality pet food.

That's why we at NWC Naturals® Pet Products LLC formulated Total-Zymes ® PLUS now the most complete product on the market. With a special blend of Sixteen powerful plant-based enzymes to completely digest and deliver all the nutrients of today's modern pet diet.

The Plus is because it also has A proprietary probiotic blend of now fourteen live stable probiotics.

In addition we have added 1,000,000 FCCPU of bromelain from pineapple as a systemic Enzyme per tablet. This will help support pets with seasonal sensitivities and support healthy joints.

How to handle and store Total-Zymes® PLUS

All pro-biotics will benefit from proper storage to insure a long shelf life with full potency. Nothing in Total-Zymes® PLUS actually goes stale or bad with time. The potency will go down depending on how it is stored. If stored at room temperature we guarantee full potency through the date printed on the jar.

When Total-Zymes® PLUS is stored in the refrigerator you can add 6 months to the life of the product.

When you store Total-Zymes® PLUS in the freezer you can add one full year to the life of the product. Always keep the lid tightly closed. When you receive your product check the date and decide if you will be using the product up by that date. If not, then either refrigerate or freeze the product accordingly.

Ingredients

Our 14 live stable Probiotic Ingredients:

Pet Digestive Aid Acidophilus:  Acidophilus is the most effective pro-biotic strain. Called the "sticker strain," Acidophilus has the ability to actually cling to the intestinal wall without harming it. In fact, it is best known for its ability to move un-disrupted through the stomach and into the intestines where it eats away at the bad bacteria. It is known for reducing the occurrence of constipation and diarrhea, increasing nutrient uptake (especially calcium).

Pet Digestive Aid B. bifidum: Is a normal inhabitant of the intestines. Found in large numbers, the numbers of bifidobacteria decrease with age. B. bifidum helps detoxify the intestines and promote regular bowel movements.

Pet Digestive Aid Bacillus coagulans: Has been added by the EFSA to their Qualified Presumption of Safety (QPS) list] and has been approved for veterinary purposes by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration's Center for Veterinary Medicine, as well as by the European Union and is listed by AAFCO for use as a direct fed microbial in livestock production. It is often used in veterinary applications, especially as a probiotic in pigs, cattle, poultry, dog and cats.

Pet Digestive Aid L fermentum: is a Gram-positive species of bacterium in the genus Lactobacillus. it is a probiotic that supports the immune response, supports liver health and cholesterol levels.

Pet Digestive Aid B. lactis (B. animalis):  is a Gram-positive anaerobic rod-shaped bacterium, which can be found in the large intestines of most mammals, including humans. Bifidobacterium animalis and Bifidobacterium lactis were previously described as two distinct species. Presently, both are considered B. animalis with the subspecies Bifidobacterium animalis subspecies animalis and Bifidobacterium animalis subspecies lactis. Both names B. animalis and B. lactis are still used on product labels, as this species is frequently used as a probiotic in pet products.

Pet Digestive Aid B. longum: Aids in the cleansing and health of the colon and liver.

Pet Digestive Aid L. brevis : is a species of lactic acid bacteria, all of which are Gram-positive, non spore forming organisms whose main metabolic pathway involves fermenting hexose sugars to produce lactic acid. L. brevis can be isolated from the food sources in inhabits, one example being kimchi. This bacteria is probiotic, and supports the immune system.

Pet Digestive Aid L. casei: Is known for its ability to support a healthy immune response that is helpful in supporting a healthy urinary tract.

Pet Digestive Aid L. plantarum: Can be found in naturally fermented foods. It is found in the large intestine where it helps to break down protein into usable nutrients.

Pet Digestive Aid L helveticus: Is gaining also importance as health-promoting culture in probiotics. It has the potential to produce bioactive peptides or bacteriocins, and exert symbiotic effect when associated with prebiotics.

Pet Digestive Aid Lactococcus lactis: Has been shown through research to produce a high amount of lactic acid, which is able to support a good gut and a normal intestinal flora.

Pet Digestive Aid L. reuteri: Provides natural probiotic support for the intestines. Is a well-studied probiotic bacterium that can colonize many mammals.

Pet Digestive Aid E. faecium: Provide several benefits to a pet including aiding digestion and helping to maintain a healthy mix of bacteria in the stomach (which can be helpful when switching diets or after anti-biotic treatment).

Pet Digestive Aid L. Bulgaricus: Is one of several bacteria used for the production of yogurt. It is also found in other naturally fermented products.

The other ingredients:

Pre-biotics- Inulin IQ FOS (Fructooligosaccharides)-Chickory Root is one of the best-known all natural pre-biotic,  FOS is known to promote the growth of beneficial bacteria in the gastrointestinal tract. It has been shown to stimulate growth of bifidobacteria in the colon where many issues first take root. Supplementing with FOS can greatly increase metabolic activity in the colon. Healthy colon function is vital to a properly functioning immune system.

Live Enzyme Activated Delivery System® (L.E.A.D.S.®)- Like all of NWC Naturals Pet Products  Total-Biotics® contains our exclusive Live Enzyme Activated Delivery System®. It is this delivery system that guarantees assimilation and utilization of the nutrients at the cellular level. L.E.A.D.S.® (Live Enzyme Activated Delivery System®) is a proprietary system of adding a blend of select enzymes to botanical and whole-food products for the purpose of improving the release and absorption of nutrients contained in these products.

This special blend of supplemental enzymes works to extract the nutrients from the formula in the most bioavailable form so your pet's body can use them easily and efficiently.

Our List of  Our 16 Enzymes:

Pet Digestive Aid       Protease 6.0; Is used to break down proteins to peptides. It will not digest protein to amino acids. A second enzyme is necessary for that to happen.

Pet Digestive Aid       Protease 3.0; Is used to break down proteins in a different PH range.

Pet Digestive Aid       Protease 4.5; Is used to break down proteins in a different PH range then the other two.

Pet Digestive Aid       Peptidase; Help digest protein molecules. Four varieties of protease enzymes have been combined in this formula to compensate for higher protein diets of pets.

Pet Digestive Aid       Amylase;  An enzyme that breaks down sugars and starches. Good for those hidden sugars in pet treats. And helps digest corn, potatoes, rice ect.

FAQ

1. Is Total-Zymes® PLUS  just for sick pets?

No. This is the most powerful high colony forming formula in the world supplying 1.6 Billion CFUs of 14 different strains of good guy bacteria matched to each cup of food consumed. Of course all pets definitely will benefit greatly from this product. Total-Zymes® PLUS is designed for daily use for all pets in every cup of food. It is essential that all pets have a daily supplement of probiotics and enzymes to build their susceptible immune systems.

2. Does Total-Zymes® PLUS  have a bad taste?

Total-Zymes® PLUS basically has a subtle carob and brewer’s yeast flavor.  Most pets will just eat it down with their meal. Since it is all human grade ingredients, try it yourself.

3. Can probiotics and enzymes help with constipation in dogs and cats?

Total-Zymes® PLUS for pets can help support a good bowel movement. Probiotics are responsible for controlling the moisture content of the stools. The supplementation of probiotics will help things move along, not by causing a laxative effect but by supporting the natural balance of the colon. Digestive enzymes will help digest the food in the stomach which helps move things along as well.

4. What are enzymes?
Enzymes are products that either begin or enhance the speed of chemical reactions. Present in the cells of plants and animals, they regulate biochemical reactions in both active and inactive forms. They are specific with respect to their functions and do only that which they were designed to do. They have been called the spark of life!

5. Why use non-animal produced or vegetarian enzymes over animal/pancreatic enzymes?
Vegetarian enzymes are more pure, very proactive, and react faster within their specific task. Animal/pancreatic enzymes, although designed to react the same way, may cause several negative side effects. This is because they may bring inherently non-compatible elements from their originations to your pet. These products generally carry a warning label regarding possible side effects from their use. Pancreatin can also be very aggressive.

 6. Is Human Grade better for my pet?

It's not only the high-quality ingredients but the way they are manufactured. All our pet products are formulated for pets and their specific needs. When formulating our enzymes, we looked at over 100 different pet foods on the market. With our expertise we developed a product that is far superior than the rest. And yes, because it is made in a GMP certified human grade manufacturer, so if you wish, you too can taste it with the same confidence you have with our human products.

Only a facility that produces human supplements, undergoes the inspections and approval necessary to have genuine human grade status and therefore, a pet food or supplement must be made in such a plant in order to be called 'human grade'.

The FDA and USDA are responsible for regulating human foods and supplements determining 'edible' status. In order to be allowed to produce human foods and supplements, a manufacturing facility undergoes far more frequent and detailed inspections by these and other agencies, compared with the inspection that a pet food plant undergoes.

GMP certified. All of our products are made in a factory that is GMP certified and only human grade raw materials are used. Many pet products do not receive this certification. With other brands you can never be sure if your pet is really getting the best. At best, you're just wasting money on an ineffective product.

7. Why does my pet’s stool get smaller with Total-Zymes® PLUS?

A dog or cats’ digestive system is designed to process only raw food, primarily meat. In the wild no dog or cat would Bar-B-Que their food. Cats and dogs’ digestive systems are short, and food eaten should have a relatively short transit time. Raw food contains all the enzymes needed to digest itself, thus it digests quickly and completely resulting in a small stool. Kibble canned, or other cooked food is lacking the enzymes to digest quickly or completely. When Total-Zymes® PLUS is added to cooked food the food is properly digested quickly and efficiently resulting in smaller stools and better health.

8.  How Many Different Strains Of Probiotics Should Be In A Formula?

There are more than 400 probiotics strains naturally occurring in both dogs and people. What determines how many different strains should be in a formula? This depends on how many strains can be added that are stabilized, the more the merrier one to six different strains of probiotics is, just not enough.

Since each strain has its own special job the more different species in a product makes for better colonization. They do not crowd each other out as they all have their own pH they like to live in and implant in that area only.

If you can imagine over 400 different species all coexisting together in nature you can see it's not an issue supplementing with 14 different live stabilized strains.

So, companies claiming that supplementing with anything over 6 different species is not necessary, they are not accurate, they just do not know their science, nor do they understand how nature works.

9. Why is the  Quality Seal from NASC so important?

The NASC quality seal is an excellent way to identify a product that comes from a responsible supplier. To earn permission to display this seal on their products, a supplier must pass a comprehensive facility audit every two years, maintain ongoing compliance with rigorous NASC quality requirements, and pass random independent product testing to ensure products meet label claims.

Not All supplements are created equal. Similar ingredients don’t mean similar quality. Look for the NASC Quality Seal on supplement labels to find companies that comply with the industry’s highest standers. As seen in Animal Wellness magazine.
